The side gusset is built into the part for added strength to minimize vibration in the light. The brackets use the two bolt hole locations just below the windshield hinge\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe slotted hole where you mounts the light allows adjustment to aim the light where desired. Often times we turn the lights to the outside of the Jeep slightly to light beside the vehicle. This part is shipped bare steel.
