They feature over 10 inches of under-body protection, but they also offer full sheet metal protection under the flares, which is a Rusty’s exclusive! Now you can climb over rocks and stumps and just slide down the rockers without having to worry about trail damage!\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eRusty's CJ-7 Rocker Armor starts with 3\/16\" thick laser-cut pickled and oiled steel that is then CNC formed for an exact fit. A nearly full-length bar is then added (shortened only to clear the fender flares) that is 2\" x 0.120-wall DOM tubing. A dimple-died step is conveniently located under to door to act as a step that makes it easier to get in and out of the vehicle. In addition to acting as a step, the bar offers extra protection from trees, rocks and boulders. Seven stainless steel button head bolts attach the Armor to the factory rockers and side panels. This design ensures nothing is going to be damaged by dragging the underside of the rockers against rocks and other obstacles. Last but certainly not least, Rusty's CJ-7 Rocker Armor is e-coated and then powder coated gloss black for clean looks and durability.
