The shaft itself is coated with a unique black chromate that is actually more durable to chrome, while offering better resistance to rust than other shocks. The machined aluminum rod end offers strength and good looks and houses American-made polyurethane bushings. The shock body itself is constructed of 2” diameter seamless DOM tubing for excellent heat-transfer, and the outside of the shock has a durable black diamond powder coated finish.
